Chennai Food for education program – Universalization of primary education through 3 times a day for 5000 Kids across multiple schools

The project aims at improving the nutritional status of children belonging to the disadvantaged group in Chennai. Under this project, children belonging to disadvantaged sections are being encouraged to attend school more regularly and the initiative is helping them concentrate on classroom activities while improving the overall health. The initiative will help providing meals to 5000 children, 3 times a day over the next three years.

Blossom Bus - Safety of the girl child travelling between school & home, safe mobility for empowerment - enabled more than 100 girls across 8 villages in Haryana

White Lotus

The project aims at ensuring safe mobility and promoting female empowerment by increasing the number of girl children travelling to school and back, for their education. The initiative encourages families to send out young girls for their education, without fear of violence against them and helps in preparing them for a successful and employable life ahead. Under this project, 200 young girls across Tamil Nadu and Palwal, Haryana are being aided in their education.

Accessible railway stations for visually Impaired – 15 stations across Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Kerala and Karnataka.

The project aims at making railway stations in India accessible and inclusive for visually disabled individuals. The initiative enables disabled individuals to travel independently with minimal concerns about their safety at railway stations. The project is being implemented at over 15 railway stations across Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Kerala and Karnataka.

Blind spots/road safety

IRSC

The project aims at driving behavioral and physical change among the masses to drive awareness around ‘blind spots’ in India and avoid road accidents. The initiative is being undertaken in collaboration with Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) and MapmyIndia to educate the masses about the existence and the menace of blind spots as it is one of the major reasons of fatal accidents in India.

Air to water sustainable technology - Water Plant at cancer hospital and Zoo (2 units at each location)

The project aims at providing free and safe drinking water to public through atmospheric water generators at the Chennai Vandalur Zoo and at Chennai Cancer Hospital.
