2. How long can I subscribe for a car?
Tenures are available from 3 months to 48 months. You can select a tenure depending on your need. The longer you subscribe, the lesser is your monthly Subscription Fee.
3. Which cars can I subscribe to? What are the variants?
Nissan’s Shared Subscription currently offers Nissan Kicks & Nissan Magnite. It is available in Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, NCR (Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Noida, Ghaziabad), Chennai, Pune. Check the car variants available in your city here.
4. When will the car be delivered?
We will deliver the car within 4 weeks after the first month subscription fee is received. Please note that timelines can vary slightly across cities based on the availability of the selected car for subscription and also the vehicle color. For some variants, waiting time could be higher depending on availability.
5. When will my car Subscription start?
Your car subscription will start only after the car is delivered to you. So you can pay the subscription fee with complete peace of mind. Your billing cycle will start only when the car is in your hands.
6. How many kms can I drive my car during the subscription? Is there a km cap?
We understand your usage can be varied and there is a fair usage policy of 1000 kms per month over the tenure of your subscription. For example - In case you have subscribed to 24 months, you can drive for 24000 kms over the subscription tenure. Excess km charges will be Rs 7 per KM (to be calculated at the end of the subscription period).
7. Who will be responsible for the service and maintenance?
- We will be responsible for the services and maintenance. Please refer the subscription agreement for more details.
- You can request a pick-up service any time by contacting our customer support on the Nissan Subscription App. Relax at your home while we get the car serviced and get it back to you. Remember we promised "hassle-free"!
- Service would be done at Nissan’s authorized service centres only.
8. How can I earn by sharing the car?
When your Nissan car is idle for a particular time period, you can share it on the Zoomcar platform for short term rentals. To do the same, you can create a ‘Listing’ for your car through the Nissan Subscription mobile application. After successfully creating a listing, you will receive bookings on your car during the listing period you have chosen. For every booking that Zoomcar successfully gets completed on your car, it will share with you approximately 60% of the earnings from the booking( No fuel). On a monthly level, you can earn as much as 40% of your monthly Subscription Fee through sharing your car.
9. Will I receive a new car once I subscribe?
Yes, We deliver Brand new cars unless you Opt to subscribe to an Unboxed vehicle.
10. Can I extend my Subscription tenure?
- Tenure can be extended anytime during the subscription period. Given the huge demand for this product, we suggest you do this at least 30 days before the scheduled end date of the subscription, as the extension is subject to availability of the car.
- Do note that extension will be done at the prevailing subscription fee at the time of extension. Hence, we suggest you subscribe for longer tenures in advance.
11. How will I handle accidents when I am driving? What do I do if the car meets with an accident?
We wish you to drive safely and never have to go through this! However, in an unfortunate event, just call our customer Support [contact details will be available in the email id : - nissan.sales@zapsubscribe.com / IVR :- 08068972198 and we will take it from there.
12. Do I get to choose the color of my Nissan car as well?

13. Can I buy my Nissan car I have subscribed to?
Yes, you can buy the car you have subscribed to. Just drop us a note [ email id : - nissan.sales@zapsubscribe.com / IVR :- 08068972198 ] and we will make a way for you to own the car.
14. Is there a speed limit in the car?
- As per government regulations, all the commercial cars need to be fitted with speed governors (speed limiting device). So yes, if you go for a black plate
car then it comes with a speed governor installed that limits your speed to 80 km/h. Do remember that this is for your own safety.
- If you go for a private registered car that is a white plate where you cannot register for shareback then you will not have a speed governors(speed limiting device).
15. What sort of registration will the car have?
- Nissan’s Subscribed vehicles would be registered as a commercial car in self drive with yellow fonts and black number plate it will be registered in the name of Orix.
- White Plate Registration is a private registration car registered in the name of the subscriber.
16. Under whose name the car would be registered?
The subscribed car is yours till during the subscription period and you use it like it’s your own. But for RTO and legal formalities all cars subscribed would be registered under the name of Orix Auto Infrastructure Services Ltd who is the asset partner for Nissan’s Shared Subscription and for White Plate the car would be registered in your name.
17. Which parties are involved in offering Nissan Shared subscription?
- Nissan shared subscription platform is managed and operated by Nissan motor company Limited.
- The subscription program is operated and managed by Orix Auto Infrastructure Services Ltd.
- Zoomcar India Private Limited manages a shareback program offered as part of NIO Subscription plan.
18. Can I end my subscription any time I like?
- Yes, Nissan Shared Subscription is a purely no strings attached program and you can end the Subscription anytime by contacting us on the Subscription App.
- However, there is a Minimum tenure lock-in period for every subscription. This means, if you want to end the subscription before Minimum tenure, you will have to pay the balance subscription fee for the remaining lockin period at the existing price plus differential subscription fee for the lock-in period and the existing subscription fee.
- In case if you want to end your subscription prematurely after the lock-in period of Minimum tenure you will have to pay the cumulative differential amount equal to the subscription fee set for one tenure shorter than the selected month of closure, for the period up-to the termination month. For eg - If you have selected the subscription tenure for 36 months and you wish to end your subscription in the 14th month, then you will have to pay the differential amount between applicable subscription fee of 12 months and the selected subscription fee for 36 months Differential amount = (Applicable subscription fee - Existing Subscription fee)* months of usage.
- That said, we are sure this question would become irrelevant for you as you would never want to terminate before the scheduled date.
