Front door handle sensor Recall
Nissan Motor India is announcing a proactive and voluntary recall of all Nissan Magnites produced between Nov 2020 and Dec 2023 for a retrofit of front door handle sensors. This proactive and mandatory preventive action impacts the base XE and mid XL variants only, with no impact to the safety of customers. All Nissan Magnites manufactured after Dec 2023 remain unaffected.
Nissan will begin notifying the owners of the affected vehicles and assures them that they can continue using their vehicles without interruption. Our customers can visit their nearest authorized Nissan service workshop where a retrofit of the sensor will be performed free of charge. Nissan as a responsible corporate citizen is committed to the safety, service, and satisfaction of its customers.
