Nissan India strengthens its aftersales presence in Kochi with new service centre

KOCHI, India (February 15,2017)— Nissan India today inaugurated one of its largest service centres in southern India. The newly opened state-of-the-art workshop will be part of the EVM CARS dealership located in Nettoor, near Kochi, Kerala. Nissan has been actively developing its network in India and this new workshop is yet another step to move closer to its customers and provide a superior ownership experience.

Speaking at the inauguration, Sanjeev Aggarwal, VP - After Sales, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. said, “This new service centre is a symbol of our commitment to provide Nissan and Datsun customers with a superior ownership experience. Kochi is an important market for Nissan and Datsun, and we have seen a tremendous response here for Datsun redi-GO. We look forward to establishing even closer relationship with our valued customers here in the Kochi area.”

Renjith Paul, Dealer Principal, EVM cars said, “We are proud to be associated with the Nissan and Datsun brands. This new workshop is a great
opportunity for us to offer our first-rate service capabilities to Nissan and Datsun customers in Kochi. Our new workshop has a dedicated team of service staff and technicians, equipped with the latest service tools and equipment, who are trained to attend to every need of our customers.”

Nissan India is the second-fastest growing car company in India with a network of 284 touchpoints for Nissan and Datsun vehicles spanning 188 cities. With the inauguration of this new workshop, Nissan has 28 customer touchpoints in Kerala.

Excellent aftersales service is a key factor to ensure a satisfying customer experience. The newly inaugurated EVM cars workshop provides a convenient option for the comprehensive aftersales requirements of Nissan and Datsun customers from neighbouring areas like Tripunithura and Marad. The workshop can accommodate up to 50 cars in its parking area and service up to 30 cars per day—including an exclusive express bay service. This makes it easy for customers to come to the dealer to have their car serviced quickly and easily.

Nissan is focused on improving the experience of customers when they visit the company’s dealers. In August 2016, Nissan increased its ranking to second place in the annual J.D. Power 2016 India Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) Study, with a score of 831 out of the 1000 point scale. In 2015, the company was ranked third in the SSI study.
